This issue 1977 X-Men features the first full appearance of the Starjammers who also appear on the cover! The Starjammers are comprised of Corsair (who we learn is the father of Scott "Cyclops" and Alex "Havok" Summers), Raza, Ch'od and Hepzibah. The Summers origin storyline is one of the more significant events during Claremont and Cockrum's Bronze Age X-men era.
