New Mutants 98 CGC 9.4 WP. Super rare and considered to be the holy grail of "Mark Jewelers" insert variants. I was initially unaware that Mark Jewelers inserts were being placed into comics in the early 90's. These inserts are more common in the 70's and when they appear in key issues it's considered to be a very nice bonus and adds to the desirability.

For those who don't know about these inserts they were placed into books that were sent to military bases. I tried contacting CGC to find out if they track the inserts in the census but unfortunately they do not. Also looked at my comic shop. Com and they don't have one either. This book obviously isn't for everyone.

Most collectors will probably opt for a standard version of this issue. CGC 9.8's without the insert are out there all over the place a dime a dozen.

For the Mark Jewelers insert collector you may not see another copy for a very long time. For the discriminating collector who wants something a little different this is definitely something that none of your friends will have. This book touts the 1st Appearance of Deadpool. Who is arguably the most popular character in marvel right now.

Ryan Reynolds has the character right where he needs to be now. Deadpool 2 is in final production Deadpool 3 is slated for 2019. Deadpool will also make appearances is several other Marvel MCU movies.
