He mentioned X-Men #1 and Journey into Mystery #83 and over 1,000 comics pre-1980 and that was enough to get us onto Expedia booking a flight. After arriving at the airport in Cleveland and renting a car, we made it on-time to a modest but quaint home in a residential area west of Cleveland. We were greeted and the owner couldnt wait to show us the comics.
He stressed that he needed to be somewhere in 2 hours, so we hurried and went through the collection. After viewing the collection, we sat down in the kitchen and discussed our findings and hammered out a deal, packed up the car and left within the hour.
This is a really cool collection with some MEGA keys as well as dozens of #1 issues, classic covers and important issues. The condition is mostly mid-grade with some surprises.This collection will make an incredible holiday present as well as being a perfect collection for re-sale.
