This amazing collection required a flight on short notice out to Wisconsin. Upon arriving in Milwaukee, we were greeted with snow, cold and an unrelenting wind. We rented an SUV and drove through snowy roads to get to a farm house on what looked to be at least 10 acres of land. We were greeted by the owner and his wife and spent a couple of hours looking at comics and talking about the cold winter.
After a nice discussion and a hearty mid-west dinner, we closed the deal on the collection and packed it up. The wind was practically blowing us off our feet as we loaded the SUV. This collection is absolutely loaded with key issues and includes both an Avengers #1 and a Daredevil #1 as well as scores of other great issues.
