You're looking at a copy of IDW's WATCHMEN Artifact Edition with an original drawing on the blank first page by DAVE GIBBONS of THE COMEDIAN. The book itself is an extraordinary piece of work, containing 144 pages of Gibbons' Watchmen pages scanned from the original art and reproduced at their original size, all bound in a beautiful 12 1/4 x 17 1/4 hardcover housed in a custom box. This copy has been adorned with a large Comedian sketch of approximately 10 1/2 x 12 inches, this is a much more elaborate drawing than normal from Gibbons, there is penciled underdrawing and the level of detail is unprecedented for one of his sketches. Excellent condition, there is some dinging to the protective outer box. All kinds of great artists here.
