To reiterate, this is a full custom piece, it is NOT made by XM Studios. My favorite Iron Man sculpt and pose! But i really didnt like the XM clean mono tone paint app, makes the statue look too toy like. This custom piece was redone from the ground up, with some of the best custom weathering / battle damage and professional paint app I have seen on an iron man, or any statue for that matter - this is Iron Man paint app done to perfection. Every piece of armor was painted with exquisite detail that can only be accomplished by a custom job with perfect chin for the helmet head, clean lines and multi-layered shiny realistic metal paint app.

Comes with 2 distinct switchout pose just like the XM version. Bad battle damage paint app is easy, just smudge on some black/grey paint randomly and call it a day just look at most sideshow iron man paint in hand, especially the latest MK III - terrible!

But great battle damage is extremely difficult and time consuming to paint, each armor's edge needs to be done so it looks like some paint was rubbed off exposing the metal, also realistic battle damage and scruff marks on the armor along with burn marks near his reactor. Also for added fun, high quality bright LED was added to his helmet and reactor, powered by standard 2x LR44 button batteries. 1 For horizontal display, do NOT use a screwdriver to remove the peg cover bolt from base, you will damage the paint. Just use your hand ONLY to slowly turn and remove the peg plug from base for the horizontal leg peg hole.

2 This piece may look complicated, but it is actually very easy to setup. The back has 6x pieces + 1 cover plate, the front has 2x pieces. Each piece attaches perfectly into the hole via strong magnet. If the piece doesnt seem to fit perfectly, it means you have it in the wrong position or upside down - each piece fits perfectly - refer to my photos for setup. 1 All my custom statues are done by only 1 studio - made up of the best in the business - artists who do the factory prototypes for the highend collectible brands not sideshow!

2 All photos you see are taken by me of the actual IN HAND statues you will receive. I will NEVER use some stock photo for custom statues. Note: Even the worst statue will look good in low res photo or at a distance (a lot of sellers hide behind them for custom statues), but if you blow up the photos in high res at point blank distance like mine, magnifying every paint flaw, it will be obvious.

My photos speak for themselves on the paint app quality and sculpt. Mass market vendors typically do not use them because they cost a lot more. 4 At max, only a handful (most times just 1 or 2) of each custom statue will be made, then done forever. They are for my personal collection. 5 There maybe other sellers with similar statues even at much higher prices, with good looking stock photos or even using my photos, but they are NOT made by the same team or quality. 6 THIS IS A CUSTOM STATUE, IT IS NOT MADE BY SIDESHOW COLLECTIBLES, XM STUDIO, PRIME1 STUDIO ETC...
