Journey Into Mystery #83 1962 First Series. 1st Thor Appearance. NOT Reprint

This is the original comic book and NOT the reprint. The first thing you will notice about this book is the amazing colors. The reds are bold and bright and the yellows jump right off the cover. The book has retained most of its gloss and has nice whites too. I believe the pages to be White to Off-White and the book lays nice and flat.

The book was taken apart back in the day and tape was added inside of the entire spine on the inside of the cover. There is also some tape on the front cover, inside front cover, back cover and centerfold.

It seems that the older dealers of the day would do these types of repairs to make it so you could read the book many times. Please look at the photos so you can view the defects but also the beauty of the book. This is a great way to get a Journey in to Mystery 83 without paying the big bucks for it.
